Trinity Men’s and Women’s Rugby (DUFC) will be contesting their annual Colours matches on Wednesday 23rd March against local rivals University College Dublin. Both teams will be looking for victory with the game being hosted at College Park for the first time in the history of the fixture. The men hope to beat UCD, after their narrow 32-30 defeat last year, on home ground with the women's team looking to retain their title for another year.

We encourage students, staff and alimni to come out and support both Trinity Teams in what will no doubt be hotly contested matches. We are anticipating a high volume of spectators building up from the start of match proceedings in the afternoon for what is sure to be a great atmosphere. Additional toilet facilities and stewards will be in place throughout the evening. It should also be noted that access to the Pavilion Bar in the evening will be restricted to those with official event passes distributed via DUFC.
The Colours Match is an annual Rugby Union fixture between the University of Dublin and University College Dublin. The fixture was inaugurated in 1952 and has been predominantly played at a dedicated rugby ground. This year is the first year that it will be played on the historic grounds of Trinity College.
