FAQs

What does my membership entitle me to?
Access to the gym, swimming pool, sauna and steam room, changing facilities and reduced member rates for all sports services.

I am a returning student, do I still need to activate my card?
Yes. All students (new or returning) should activate their student card for Sports Centre access.

How do I activate my student card for membership?
Simply call to the Sports Centre reception desk and one of our helpful team will assist you to arrange this. Best to avoid peak times (12-2pm & 5-7pm) if at all possible.

When is my student membership valid until?
Until 31st August 2018.

I will not receive my student card until late September, can I get access during this time?
Yes. Those who do not have their student card can access the Sports Centre until 30thSeptember 2017. However, proof of registration must be displayed to reception staff upon each visit.

Where are the changing facilities?
If you are going for a swim only, next to the pool area is a communal changing space with everything required. If you are doing any activity other than swimming, changing facilities are located on the first floor.

Where can I store my belongings?
There are locker areas in the pool changing area and also on the first floor main corridor. We recommend that your belongings are secured with a padlock, available to purchase at reception. Lockers are not for overnight use, however there are a number of lockers allocated for our annual lock scheme. September-May cost is €60, September 2017-September 2018 cost is €75.
