Postgraduate Orientation

Next Orientation Date: To Be Confirmed

Each year the Graduate Studies Office hosts an Orientation meeting to which all new entrants to TCD are invited. This meeting, and the activities asociated with it often act as the first point of direct contact between new students and College, and so they play an important role in:

• welcoming students to the university,
• ensuring familiarity with College facilities and services (both academic and personal),
• introducing students to the structures and procedures of College, and
• ensuring students know where to go for guidance and support during their time as students.

While a detailed brochure was made available to all who participated in the most recent Orientation event, a full set of podcasts from the 2009 Orientation Meeting which includes welcomes from both the Dean of Graduate Students and President of Graduate Students' Union along with details of library services, student counselling, research and innovation, computer services, health services and many other important topices are available from the College I-Tunes U website

If you have not used iTunes U before, please click here for further information.

More detailed information, including a full programme of events for future Orientation Meetings will be posted here when available.
