Clubs and Societies

Trinity is a very sociable and vibrant environment. You will meet and make friends with students from Ireland and from all over the world. A great way to get to know people is by joining one of the 100 student societies which cover everything from the Afro-Caribbean Society to the Zoological Society. The societies meet regularly and provide an excellent opportunity to meet other students with similar interests. Among the most famous societies are the Philosophical Society dating from 1684, and the Historical Society dating from 1770.
Full details of all the societies in College, including membership details can be found on the Central Societies Committee website.
Alternatively, why not join the online research community at Graduate Junction. With more than 12,000 researchers spread across 70 countries, Graduate Junction provides an easy way of meeting and discussing your research interests with others in a global, multi-disciplinary environment.
