St. Petersburg School of Management
A mandatory requirement for the Business Studies and Russian Language degree students is that they spend their third year in the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University - the oldest university in Russia founded by Peter the Great in 1724. According to the 2013 EdUniversal ranking, GSOM is ranked as the best business school in Russia and N1 in Central and Eastern Europe, followed by the University of Economics (Prague) and the Warsaw School of Economics. Students are normally required to undertake a relevant work experience placement of a minimum duration of two months in an approved organisation or institution in Russia. Most students say this year in Russia is the highlight of the course. A year spent living, studying and working in Russia is an unforgettable and incomparable experience.
