PhD Programme
Taught Component
The programme involves a set of core courses on key substantive fields in political science. These are based on an intensive programme of lectures, seminars, discussion groups and written work. Performance is assessed on the basis of coursework and examination.
Below is the schedule for the 2011-2012 Academic Year:
- Quantitative Methods I (Michaelmas Term) - Dr Koji Kagotani Wednesdays 9am-12am, College Green 2, beginning the week of Sept 27

- Research Design (Michaelmas Term) - Dr Robert Thomson Friday mornings, hosted by UCD, beginning the week of Sept 20
- European Governance (Michaelmas Term) - Prof Daniel Thomas (UCD)
- Comparative Public Policy (Hilary Term) - Dr Basak Kus (UCD)
