Quantum Light and Matter Group

We work at the interface of condensed-matter physics and photonics. We create theories of the behaviour of photons and electrons in complex nanostructured materials and devices and related systems. These theories synthesize and explain experimental results, predict new phenomena, and guide the development of new technology.
