About

Vasilios was awarded a BSc and MSc from the University of Patras in Greece, where he focused on integrable systems in the context of string theory. He joined the Bradley Photonics Group in 2011 to persue a PhD on theoretical investigations of the interactions between quantum emitters and complex nanostructures.

Research Interests

Vasilios's research interest is focused on investigating interactions between quantum emitters in the presence of plasmonic nanostructures. The EM field confinement enhances the interactions over larger distances. These kind of processes are crucial for applications such as, switching and sensing devices, plasmonic rulers, light emitting devices, light harvesting and quantum computing.
