Dr. Cristian Marocico

About

Cristian received his PhD from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, where he worked on modelling energy transfer in nanostructured environments. He joined the Bradley Photonics Group in Trinity College at the end of 2011, as a postdoc.

Research Interests

Cristian's research interests are mainly focused on the energy transfer process and how it is influenced by the presence of metal nanoparticles. More recently, Cristian's interests have evolved towards the interaction of light with metamaterials.
