Inam Mirza - Post Graduate Researcher

Biography

I am currently perusing my PHD in Laser and Plasma Application group, school of physics Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. My current research interests include fabrication and characterization of nanoparticle films of some noble and transition metals with narrow nanoparticle size distribution. We use pulsed laser deposition for the fabrication of those nanoparticle films under controlled growth condition. I am also interested to study their catalytic and optical properties including nonlinear optical properties. I did my Masters in applied physics from university of Stuttgart Germany.

Research Interests:

Nano-material fabrication using nanosecond and femtosecond pulsed pulsed laser deposition and their characterization. Langmuir probe characterization of laser ablation plume, Study catalytic and Optical properties including non-linear optical properties of metal nanoparticle films using Z-scan technique.
