The School of Physics is pleased to announce that, in the academic year 2010/11, it will award four Entrance Scholarships. These scholarships are intended to attract high-achieving students to study Physics at Trinity. The scholarships are worth €1,500 and are awarded in two installments: €750 in Junior Freshman (first year) and €750 in Senior Freshman (second year). There are two categories of scholarship:

TCD School of Physics Women in Physics Scholarships 2010     (Two Scholarships)

TCD School of Physics Entrance Scholarships 2010                    (Two Scholarships)
(Both men and women are eligible)

Qualifying students will be entering university for the first time to study for a Physics degree and will have achieved an A1 or A2 in Physics at the Leaving Certificate or an A in the A Levels or equivalent in other school leaving examinations. If more than two students in each category achieve the qualifying grade the scholarships will be awarded to the two students in the category with the highest points. If the event of a tie a lottery will decide. Other terms and conditions apply.
