Christopher Smith |
Christopher Smith graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 1990, obtaining a diploma in applied physics. He joined the School of Physics, Trinity College in 1991 as a Physics Technician and IT administrator. Over the years, he has worked with various research groups. He has been an Experimental Officer since 2002.
He is responsible for the use and development of the group’s ellipsometry system, used for measuring the optical characteristics of thin films. His MSc, received in 2006, is based on research carried out in this field.
