Advances in Polymer Materials and Technologies

AP-Tec’99, Advances in Polymer Materials and Technologies, was organised by Materials Ireland, The Plastics Industry Association and the Polymer Processing Research Centre of Queen’s University, Belfast. It took place here in Trinity College, Dublin on Thursday, 23rd September 1999. The Minister For Science, Technology And Commerce, Mr. Noel Treacy T.D., opened the meeting with a speech on the opportunities and strengths of the Irish Polymer Industry, on both sides of the border. There were many talks on all aspects of the Polymer Industry, including future research, product development, and materials development. These were followed by workshops on many diverse subjects, with a strong emphasis on applications and case studies.
