Magnetic Flux Sources
Advances in new magnetic materials such as Nd2Fe14B, are revolutionising permanent magnet technology. Work supported by an Enterprise Ireland Strategic Research award, aims to review and recast the theory behind design methodology using computational and analytic techniques. This includes development of advanced graphical representations of the fields, an investigation of design strategy, and exploration of new designs for permanent magnets.
