Dr Ramesh Babu
Dr. Ramesh Babu is a senior research fellow and centre Manger in Polymer Research Centre in the school of Physics at Trinity College. Dr. Ramesh graduated from the University of Bombay, India in 1998 with a Ph.D. in Chemistry. He has worked in Clariant Gmbh and Asahi Kasei Corporation, Japan where his research work involved the development of new nanocomposites for applications including membranes, packing film, automotive components and foam applications. He has 4 patents in this area. Current Research interests are in the development of polymer nanocomposites, bio-degradable polymers, sensors, conducting polymer composites and smart polymers for various industrial applications.
