Position: Postgraduate Student

Education: B.A. Mod Experimental Physics TCD 2006.

Specialities: Electrochemistry, Nanotoxicology, Nanomaterials, Biomedical applications and Cell signalling.

Current Projects: Magnetic Barcoded Nanowires to enable Detection of Proteins and Biomarkers of Human Disease in vitro.

Activities/Interests: Swimming, Tag Rugby , Walking, Reading and Travelling

Brief Bio:
Fiona completed her Physics degree in Trinity College Dublin in 2006 and then joined the group to continue her research. She is currently working on fabricating various nanomaterials using electrochemical techniques and examining their effects on cellular response.
