Student Life

The Graduate Student Union, which aims to encourages a sense of community in the graduate student body, organises a organise a wide variety of events throughout the year and a Graduate Common Room is located in Front Square. They also provide confidential peer support and advice on any personal or academic issues.

Philosophy Events

Graduate students are expected to attend the Graduate and Staff Colloquium, which takes place every Monday during Term and attracts distinguished speakers from all over the world. They are also expected to attend, and regularly contribute to, the Graduate Research Seminar which is run jointly with University College Dublin and meets every week. It is an occasion that combines intellectual rigour and challenge with the opportunity for students to meet and get to know each other in a convivial and relaxed environment.
