David Berman holds a B.A. in philosophy from the New School for Social Research and an M.A. from the University of Denver. He obtained his Ph.D. from Trinity College Dublin, and an Advanced Diploma in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin.
