Autism and the Foundations of Language and Communication
The Department of Philosophy is pleased to announce an major international conference to be held in the Trinity Long Room Hub from 27-29 March 2015.
This international, interdisciplinary conference aims to bring together researchers who are interested in Autism Spectrum Disorder and also in language, meaning, meta-representation and thought, in order to investigate data and theories that are relevant across a variety of disciplines. The conference speakers are drawn from psychology, (psycho)linguistics and philosophy.
The conference is hosted by Trinity College Dublin's Arts & Humanities Research Institute, and is the result of a collaboration between three different schools and departments in the College. In additon to the Department of Philosophy, it also incorporates the School of Psychology, the Department of Clinical Speech and Language Studies and, from outside TCD, the National College of Ireland.
