Admission Requirements:

Irish Writing
(M.Phil/P.Grad.Dip.)

Applicants should have a good honours degree (at least an upper second or equivalent, GPA of at least 3.3). Some previous knowledge of Irish writing is also desirable. Admission to the course is competitive due to a restricted quota.

Creative Writing
(M.Phil)

Applicants, who are expected to have a university degree or equivalent qualification, are selected on the basis of a submitted portfolio of recent creative work. Students are required to take workshops, attend courses of lectures, and take one special subject or specialist writing workshop, while continuing to develop their own individual work throughout the year.
