Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience has many research links within Trinity College, nationally through the national neuroscience network and internationally with Helen Wills Institute, Berkeley, Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London and the Institute of Psychiatry, London.
Research groups within the TCIN work together across the traditional discipline boundaries and collaborations with bioengineering (Campbell, Prendergast), immunity and inflammation (Lynch, Mills), nanoscience (Jarvis, Fitzgibbon), are also ongoing.
Research collaborations with partners in clinical research are strong, neuropsychiatric genetics (Robertson, Gill), neurodegeneration (Rowan, Lawlor (MIRA)), psychiatry (Cannon, Garavan), neuroendocrine (Gibney (AMNCH), Fitzgibbon, O'Mara), neurology (Atkins, Brett (Beaumont), Staunton) and others.
