One of the major unsolved problems in neuroscience is the link between the long-term synaptic plasticity and the mnemonic functions of the brain. How the experience alters neuronal connectivity is the major question of my research. My goal is to understand the physiological plasticity that relates hippocampal, neocortical and subcortical networks.
