The Centre aims to promote inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary collaboration between scholars working in the fields of Medieval and Renaissance studies both within and outside Trinity; and to raise the profile of Medieval and Renaissance studies at a national and an international level. The Centre offers a
taught interdisciplinary M.Phil. in Medieval Language, Literature and Culture and runs a Post-Graduate Seminar Programme. It also organises conferences on a reguar basis.

  • CARMEN: the Confederation for the Advancement of Research through a Medieval European Network
  • IMEMS: the Institute for Medieval and Early Modern Studies (based at Aberystwyth and Bangor Universities)
  • SRS: The Society for Renaissance Studies
