Museum 4

Museum 4 is located in the building Museum Building

Closing off the south of New Square, the Museum Building was constructed in the mid-nineteenth century and represents a deviation from the previous neo-classical architecture of Parliament Square. The building was a winning design of a competition to design a museum and lecture hall complex for Trinity in 1852. With Byzantine, Lombardesque and Moorish influences evident, the Museum Building is a product of the eclectic revival of Western Architecture.
