The Manuscripts and Archives Research Library is located in the West End of the Old Library. Having first obtained a Reader’s Ticket from the Admissions Counter, Berkeley Library (PDF 63KB), readers enter the Old Library through the Library Shop, go up the stairs, through the doors at the end of the Long Room, down the stairs to the West Pavilion and up in the lift to the First Floor.
