Brought together between the mid-1960s and the mid-1990s, this collection of caricatures is composed of:

• 1,300 political and social caricatures relating to Ireland for the period 1780 to 1830 including numerous works by J. Gillray
• over 900 political caricatures by J. Doyle of the period 1830 to 1850
• approx. 200 political caricatures done by T. Merry for the St. Stephen’s Review between 1884 and 1891.
