Areas of Interest
Dr Walsh’s research interests are in property law and theory, constitutional law, land-use law, and jurisprudence. In particular, she is interested in the theory of private ownership. Her work considers how theoretical justifications for private ownership shape the scope of protection afforded to private property rights in constitutional adjudication and the interaction between the treatment of private ownership in public and private law. A particular focus of her current work is the relationship between participation rights and property rights in a variety of regulatory contexts.
