Biography
Cathal Curran joined the law school in Trinity College Dublin on the PhD register in September 2009, researching the tension between the rule of law ideal and activist judicial interpretation under the supervision of Dr. Oran Doyle. Since beginning his PhD he has been a seminarist for the Jurisprudence, Criminal Law and Legislation and Regulation modules. He is a member and co-convenor of the Irish Jurisprudence Society, which hosts its workshops in the law school. Cathal has also been involved as a mentor and tutor on the Pathways to Law section of the Trinity Access Programme.
