Biography

Brian Tobin has completed both an LL.B and an LL.M at Trinity College Dublin, where he is currently working on a Ph.D entitled ‘Same-Sex Families in Ireland: The Road to Legal Recognition’ under the supervision of Professor Binchy.

Brian has previously tutored in Property Law and Succession on the LL.B programme at Trinity College Dublin and he is currently an Adjunct Lecturer in Law at the Law School, co-teaching Equity with Professor Delany to Junior and Senior Sophister LL.B students. In the 2007/2008 academic year he was a Lecturer in Law at the National University of Ireland, Galway, where he taught Equity and Contract Law to students on the LL.B and BA (Legal Science) programmes respectively. Brian has published works in various journals which include the Irish Journal of Family Law and the Annual Review of Irish Law. He was an academic contributor in the13th Annual Brian Walsh Memorial Moot.
