Biography
Ewaen Fred Ogieriakhi holds an LL.B from the Open University in Collaboration with the College of Law of England and Wales, (2004). He further obtained the PgDip in Law of the Dublin institute of Technology(2010). Ewaen completed the Master of Arts in Law at the Dublin Institute of Technology with his thesis focusing on European Union Law specifically, Union Citizenship : Impact, influences and challenges to Irish Immigration Laws (2011).
Ewaen’s Ph.D research focuses on Child abuse in State institutions in Ireland from a human right and Irish Constitutional perspective. The research will attempt to explore and investigate the scope and extent of child abuse in State institutions within the Irish State and how this impact on human right laws and Irish Constitution for the purpose of suggesting new legislative and policy approaches to address and prevent such abuses within institutions of child care.
