Law School Open Day

Open Day

The School of Law in Trinity College Dublin will be holding an open day on Saturday 19 October for people interested in undertaking a law degree at third level. There will be a programme of events designed to give students a flavour of what it is like to study law in a university. In addition, there will be an opportunity to meet current students and recent graduates, as well as lecturers, in a relaxed and informal setting.

10:30 - 11:00 Registration
11:00 - 12:00 Small Group Session - Discriminating Landlords
12:00 - 1:00 Small Group Session - OJ Simpson Trial
1:00 - 2:00 Lunch with current and former students
2:00 - 3:00 Small Group Session - Constitutional law
3:00 - 3:30 Large Group Lecture - Criminal law
3:40 - 4:00 Large Group Lecture - the new CAO Process for Entry into Law
4:00 - 4:30 Optional Campus Tour

 

Between 11:00 am and 12:00 noon, there will be a parallel question-and-answer session for parents, guardians and teachers about studying law at third level.

All sessions will take place in the Arts Building, Trinity College Dublin.

 

How to pre-register:

Places are limited and due to the participatory nature of the programme it is necessary to pre-register. Places will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
