Biography

Dr. Bilun Mueller, LL.M. (Bruges) is Assistant Professor (DAAD-Fachlektorin) and Co-Ordinator for the Law and German Programme in the School of Law. She teaches an Introduction to the German Legal System with a focus on German Constitutional Law as well as a module on German Civil Law and a course on German and European Law. In addition she lectures in the framework of the German Area Studies course in the Department for Germanic Studies. She also teaches an LL.M. module in European Energy Law and is lecturing in International Environmental Law for the TCD UCD Masters in Development Practice.

She is a fully qualified German lawyer (Assessorin). She has worked as academic assistant at the Law Department of Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, and taught European Law before coming to Trinity. She has been a visiting lecturer in German Law in University College Cork and in European Constitutional Law in Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen.

Her areas of interest include German and European constitutional and administrative law, in particular environmental and planning law, as well as energy law.
