Undergraduate Courses

Early and Modern Irish are taught as two separate undergraduate subjects in the Irish department. You may take them together as a single honor course in Early and Modern Irish (BA, 4 years) or combined individually with a number of other subjects as part of a Two Subject Moderatorship (BA, 4 years).

The Irish Department contributes to two interdisciplinary undergraduate programmes. Irish Studies (BA, 4 years) looks at Ireland through the disciplines of Irish, History, English and more. The last intake to this course was in 2015-16. This degree will phase out after that. Computer Science and Language (BA, 4 years) combines the study of Computer Science, Linguistics and a language of your choice (French, German or Irish).
