Software Standards

Purchasing/Developing Software for use in College

Software needs to be designed to support specific security standards to ensure the security of the College data which will be held within it.

All users involved in the purchasing or developing Software for use in College should refer to the IT Security Software Policy for guidance on how to make sure that they are developing/purchasing a secure system.

The Security Questionnaire for new Systems should be also be filled out when planning, designing or purchasing a new system to assess the suitability of the proposed system.
