Key to the research in all four strands is the collecting and study of images, antiquarian drawings, archive photography and more recent photographs, along with electronically harvested data. The research team are building on the existing strength of the extensive collections of visual material held in Trinity College which provide a huge untapped archive, one that has hitherto been largely inaccessible and underexploited.
