Hamilton Mathematics Institute TCD Launch

The Provost of Trinity announced the official launch of the Hamilton Mathematics Institute TCD took on 5 September 2005 in the Provost's house and in front of the Institute's Advisors, Patrons and guests. At the launch he signed a commerative document, document.php and Iggy McGovern, Trinity physicist and poet read a poem he had composed for the occasion: poem.php

Some of the Institutes advisors, Friedrich Hirzebruch, Wolf medalist and former Director of the Max Planck Institute of Mathematics, Bonn; Michael Atiyah, Fields medalist and former President of the Royal Society and Ludwig Faddeev, Director, Euler Institute, St Petersburg.
