Green Flag

The Green Flag Campus programme is based on the highly successful Green Flag Schools programme run by An Taisce in Ireland.

It has been piloted and amended for implementation in post-secondary and tertiary level education institutions. The Green-Campus Programme encourages a partnership approach to environmental management in third level institutions. This is an enhancement of traditional environmental management systems which tend to be management driven.

Trinity College achieved the Green Flag status in April 2013. If you would like to be involved in this scheme, and to help Trinity reach its targets under the Green Campus programme, please come along to a Green Campus Committee meeting.
