Green Flag

The Green Flag Campus programme is based on the highly successful Green Flag Schools programme run by An Taisce in Ireland.

It has been piloted and amended for implementation in post-secondary and tertiary level education institutions. The Green-Campus Programme encourages a partnership approach to environmental management in third level institutions. This is an enhancement of traditional environmental management systems which tend to be management driven.

Trinity College is in the final stages of applying for its Green Flag status. If you would like to be involved in this scheme, please come along to a Green Campus Committee meeting as all are welcome.
