Orientation for New Postgraduate Students
Each year the Graduate Studies Office in Trinity College Dublin hosts an orientation meeting to which all new entrants are invited. This meeting provides information on services which you may wish to avail yourself of during your time in college. The 2012 Orientation Meeting for new entrants is scheduled to take place on Friday 14th September in Burke Theatre, Arts Building. The meeting will take place from 2pm.

Intensive pre‐sessional English course for international students
20th August – 14th September 2012
A course in English for Academic Purposes in the Centre for Language and Communication Studies is available to new and continuing international students who do not speak English as their first language. Intending postgraduate students of Trinity College are eligible to register, as are students of any other university.
This intensive pre-sessional English course will run for four weeks before the start of the first term (Michaelmas Term). Classes will take place 9.30am-2pm daily, from Monday 20th August - Friday 14th September, with a focus on developing the skills required for academic English.
A second, in-sessional course will also take place throughout the academic year, starting September 2012.
