The iCRAG Geochemistry Platform hosted by the Geology Department receive SFI funding

The iCRAG Geochemistry Platform hosted by the Geology Department was amongst 5 Trinity Centres to receive competitive infrastructure funding from Science Foundation Ireland:
Geology will be installing a state-of-the art scanning electron microscope with large format EDS and colour-cathodoluminescence detectors and a correlative Raman system. The instrument will be managed by Mr. Colin Reid, who has recently joined our staff from the Centre for Microscopy and Analysis.
