Each of the School of Natural Science Research Groups is part of one of four School Research Themes:

• the Ecology & Evolution theme (E&E)
• the Earth & Environmental Science theme (E&ES)
• the Molecular & Comparative Physiology theme (M&CP)
• the Society, Space & Environment theme (SS&E)
