Prof. Pádraig Carmody awarded Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences Senior Research Fellowship

Professor Pádraig Carmody of Geography, School of Natural Sciences, TCD has been awarded a Senior Research Fellowship by the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences for his project on The Role of Information and Communication Technologies in Enterprise Development and Industrial Change in Africa: Evidence from South Africa. The award is for €115,905 is to facilitate the writing of a book and to publish articles on the subject. The fieldwork and other expenses for the project are funded by the United States National Science Foundation through a grant jointly held with Prof. James Murphy of Clark University, USA.
