Welcome to the Freeman Library

The Freeman Library is the library of the Geography Department in Trinity College. You can search the Freeman three ways.

• FIND: Simply type in the begining of a search term such as Author, Title or Subject e.g. "environment" will bring you a list of references with "environment", "environments" and "environmental".
  
  
• SEARCH: This allows a Boolean Logic search with operators such as AND, OR and NOT e.g. "Urban" AND "Renewal" NOT "Decay"
  
  
• IDENTIFY: This is used to find only exact matches of the search term you have entered. This is more precise than FINDShelf numbers preceeded by:

B are books on the open shelves
R are books in Reserve
D are Dissertations
T are Theses
P are Pamphlets
