OUTREACH PROGRAMME 2012-2013
FRENCH CINEMA (PART 1)
The French Department is pleased to launch a series of lectures and film screenings. The themes explored will include love, trauma, war, childhood, fortune, the role of the Resistance, colonialism, and memory. Each screening will be preceded by a short lecture. All films have English subtitles.

FRENCH CINEMA (PART 2)
The French Department is pleased to launch a series of lectures and film screenings which will explore a variety of themes, for example the representation of Paris, the concept of Europe, loss, reconstruction, inequality, justice, crime, life in prison, and memory. Each screening will be preceded by a short lecture. All films have English subtitles
