Julie Bates B.A. (Dublin)
Julie Bates studied English in Trinity College Dublin, becoming a scholar in 2004 and obtaining first class honours in her B.A. in 2006.
She is currently working on a Ph.D. thesis entitled ‘Beckett’s repertoire of objects: the art of salvage’, and is the recipient of an IRCHSS Government of Ireland Post-Graduate Research Scholarship.
In 2009-10 she tutored on the JF courses ‘Theories of Literature’ and ‘Stages of Theatre’, and in 2010-11, she again tutored on ‘Stages of Theatre’, and on the SF ‘Modernism’ course.
