Dr Felicity Cable B.A. (NUI), Ph.D. (Dublin)

Felicity Cable

On graduating from NUI, Galway with a B.A. (Hons.) in English and History in 2004, Felicity Cable was awarded an IRCHSS postgraduate scholarship at TCD. In 2008, she attained her Ph.D. from TCD for her dissertation, ‘Women and consent to unwanted marriage in Middle English Romance and antecedent discourses’.

She has previously tutored Senior Freshmen in Romance, Renaissance Poetry, and in medieval Scottish Literature. In 2009-10, she taught on the JF Romance course and and the SF Sixteenth-Century Identity.

She is currently working on a study of the representation of working women in medieval and early modern literature and the visual arts.
