Ann Lucille Patten, B.S. (Georgetown), B.A., Ph.D. (Dublin)
Dr Patten studied English Literature in Trinity College Dublin, first gaining her B.A. (Hons) in 1999, and then her Ph.D in 2008. Dr Patten also holds a degree in finance from Georgetown University. Her Ph.D. examined socio-historical references in the uncanny fiction of Edith Wharton, Shirley Jackson and Joyce Carol Oates. She is currently working on a book on themes of political economy in the fiction of Edith Wharton.
This year she tutored on JF American Genres course.
