Ailise Bulfin B.A. (Dublin), M.Phil. (Dublin.)
Ailise Bulfin studied History and Political Science at Trinity College, gaining her B.A. (Hons) in 1995, and completed an M.Phil. in Popular Literature at Trinity College in 2006. Her doctoral thesis is an examination of the relationship between imperialism and fin de siècle popular fiction, using postcolonial theory as the investigative framework. She is currently in receipt of a postgraduate scholarship from the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences (2008-2011). In 2009-10, she tutored on the SF ‘Introduction to Postcolonial Literature and Theory’ course.
