Ian Kinane, B.A., M.Phil. (Dublin)
Ian received his B.A. in English Studies in 2010 and a Masters in Popular Literature in 2011, both from Trinity College, Dublin. He is currently reading for a Ph.D. in the representation of Pacific desert islands in popular 20th and 21st century Robinsonade fictions. Research interests include Pacific and Caribbean fiction, travel literature and theory, adventure fiction, and children's literature.
In the past, he has taught on the Junior Freshman module 'Romanticism', as well as the Senior Freshman modules 'Victorianism' and 'Postcolonial Literature and Theory'. In 2013-14, he will be teaching on the 'Victorianism' module.
