Each student in this stream must take:
- 5E1 Engineering research project [25 credits]
- 5E2 Research Methods [5 credits]
and six modules from the list below
- 5B1 Flow induced vibration and fluid structure interaction [5 credits] - 4B13 is a pre-requisite
- 5B2 Advanced materials [5 credits]
- 5B3 Advanced thermal fluid sciences [5 credits] - 4B3, 4B4 and 4B13 are a pre-requisite
- 5BIO1 Medical devices [10 credits]* - 4B20 is a pre-requisite
- 5BIO3 Tissue engineering [5 credits] - 4B19 and 4B20 are a pre-requisite
- 5B5 Human factors [5 credits]
- 5MEMS2 Advanced manufacturing [5 credits] - 4B5 is a pre-requisite
- 4MEMS3 Supply chain management [5 credits]
- 4MEMS5 Micro & precision manufacturing [5 credits]
- C1 Renewable energy I [5 credits]
- T1 Transportation [5 credits] - 4A8 is a pre-requisite
*Note: 5BIO1 is a 10 credit module. If you choose this module, you must only select five optional modules.
