Each student in this stream must take:

• 5E1 Engineering research project [25 credits]
• 5E2 Research Methods [5 credits]

Students are required to take all of the following modules:

• 5C1 Digital media systems [5 credits]
• 5C2 Wireless networks and communications [5 credits]
• 5C3 Statistical signal processing [5 credits]
• 5C4 Speech and audio engineering [5 credits]
• 5BIO4 Physiological measurement and data analysis [10 credits]
